A Career Woman and A Housewife

Here's the deal, this our blog... This is where we come to write about our lives. The Good. The Bad. The Ugly. And of course, The Beautiful. We welcome anyone to come on in, take a look around and have a few laughs. Nothing makes us happier than nice comments and finding a new BLOG friend. If you can't handle what we have to say, just leave quietly and pretend you've never been here...We will retaliate.

Friday through Monday

Because my sister totally screwed up our internet at home, I am forced to wait three whole days to post anything until I get to work. This saddens me, however, my weekend did not. I finally did something, and I'm still recovering! Friday after work, Jamie and I went and got our nails done, although we were there for a good 2.5 hours, and our nails only took a half hour, we had an all-in-all good time!

Saturday was my soon-to-be-cousin, Melissa's bridal shower. I got a lot of great ideas for my shower and we had a superb time! My sister and I won two plants for my mom, who threatened to wreck our lives if we didn't win them for her, and the games they played there were so cute. Saturday night was a rockin' good time. We went to the sock hop! Pumpkinface was working, but I went with his family and we all danced the night away. We did miss Housewife though, anything on Martha Street just ain't the same!

Sunday was pretty eventful. Pumpkinface, me, Jamie, and Eric went to the mall and went to Jillians. We played skee-ball and bowling, but we never had enough tickets to actually win a prize (which was pretty discouraging). Then we came home, ate with the in-laws and headed to Mountaineer. That is three states in one day people! However, we all came home losers. I got a little tipsy there. Jamie and I were drinking wine, and we were getting wild. I walked into the change station, totally did, coming out of the bathroom and Jamie took my drink off me. (Then she gave it back).

Monday, at work. Was. Hell. I was never so tired in my life. I got up at 7:15, never showered, only washed my face, put on "something," (yikes, and it wasn't pretty), and made it here...10 minutes late. hehe. Anyways, it was well worth the awesome, good time. Then Pumpkinface and I went to dinner, and house-hunting some more. We also got ice cream, he said that I slurp it up and that I'm never allowed ice cream again. Haha, that's like not giving a diabetic insulin, hello, a fat girl needs her ice cream. And then we watched.... GROWING UP GOTTI!

I loveeeeee the Gotti boys. That are totally pricks, but so damn HOT. Pumpkinface and I watched two hours of it, and I drooled for each and every minute. Does anyone else share my obsession?

Look folks... It seems as though our anonymous person finally came up with a name. How "intelligent" of you! Number 1 - I find it funny that this post has in no way or form addressed me speaking or "thinking so highly of myself." (although I do). Please learn how to decipher messages. Number 2 - I believe that we have already previously expressed that we do not need, nor want your comments, b/c you are an ass. We appreciate your concern with our site, but your stupidity is brinking jealous insanity. Please control your urge to act out in such a rage - my pretty eyes need not read no more.

i don't know what you are referring to, i'm sorry. this has always been my name. NYC, hense cityhigh. anyway, i won't post anymore comments, i just wanted you to know that you ruin this blog and housewife actually posts good reading. that's all. and about your number 1 comment- i scanned through your blog awhile ago and yes, you do refer to yourself in ways you shouldn't. i like reading housewife's posts, and i will continue to read them, but i won't comment anymore since you can't handle constructive critisim. btw- housewife, we didn't think you were being racist either and your circus post was great!

Constructive Criticism: hmmm, someone please come up with a definition....

Let me put this in terms for your simple mind: This is not a newspaper, I am not giving detailed descriptions of major life events. My "dumb" self has a master's degree in something else other than journalism, sorry. I do not want your criticism, b/c I do not need it. You're an ass. If I wanted you to know about my life, or comment on it, or apparently, my stupidity, I would have emailed this website to you personally. Therefore, please get run over by one of the 8 million taxi(s) or tour buses in "NYC."

On to the next topic... talking about myself. Is it any of your damn business how I talk about myself, and if you would have "read" further, you would have noticed, that there is a whole post referring to the both of us (including Housewife) being sarcastic, if you knew us - you would have known that, because... you guessed it - you don't know us.

Ok ok ok... I love sitting at my desk here at work and noticing my e-mail smiley face popping up to tell me that I have a new e-mail. However, I HATE opening that e-mail to find that one of my best friends is upset because someone has posted a mean post to her on her blog. Seriously, why are you people like this? I feel really bad that you have mean thoughts running through your simple mind like this, and I guess that this is a good example of what's wrong with society today. I'm going to assume that you live in NYC from your comment above, which is probably one of the most exciting cities in the world, so go out and do something constructive with your own life and stop worrying about being constructive to someone else's. If you knew Career Woman in the least bit, this is what you would know: she is very self-conscience of herself and when she makes a comment about being pretty or whatever, she has ever right to because she is. Not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. Maybe you should get to know her before you make mean comments about her. On second thought- don't. She doesn't need someone like you trying to be nice. And here is where I'm really confused- this is a blog, right? People are supposed to post their thoughts and daily happenings, right? So what does that seriously have to do with you? NOTHING! Well, I hope you have satified yourself with having your "being mean dose" for the day and now you can continue on with your life outside of this blog. And I can't speak for Housewife, but since I grew up with both of these girls, I'm sure she appreciates your nice comments about her but she can do without you as well. She won't want your thoughts after speaking about Career Woman like you did. Have a great day!

Career Woman- We all love you and know who/how you are and that's all that counts!

    FYI, Ms./Mr. High:
This blog is for the purpose of keeping us (close-knit group of friends that have been split up due to career advancement) up to date on each others' lives. It has never been asked that outsiders (not in close-knit group) care about anything discussed, or offer comments. If you don't know us personally, we don't expect you to care about our lives and certainly don't need your opinions. Read your own friends' blogs... if you do not have friends and are forced to read other people's, please keep all "dumb" comments to yourself. As far as, "you do refer to yourself in ways you shouldn't" exCUSE me, but who the hell are you to say what she should or should not say about HERSELF! And by the way - we all (close-knit group) have every right to think very highly of ourselves. Confidence is a wonderful thing, especially when you have the total package, which we do. Thankyouverymuch. Have a fabulous life.

    And P.S...
Don't these idiots get sick of being blog-attacked by all of us everytime they offer a stupid comment?! We can be pretty damn mean ourselves. They should really save their humiliation for another day.

    gah!
    people being mean!
apparantly a bunch of people out there have sticks up their asses

i absolutely adore both of you, and while i was not in the close knit of friends that got seperated - i still like to read and comment because, um, i actually refer to you two as my friends...(plus, we just HAVE to be related, i swear...)

Oh my, my, my (shaking my head in disgust) Momma leaves you kiddies alone for one day and look what happens!

I thought we've made it clear many times before that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.

Although it seems that the feeling we express best here on our site is ANGER, we needn't anyone to edge it on, intentionally, by posting mean things...trust me, I run into enough dumb asses during my day to take care of pissing me off, when I come home to my blog I like to see HAPPY comments with nice thing to say ABOUT BOTH OF US. It just makes the world a better place. Get it?

With all due respect, City High, if you are a frequent reader, you would surely know that we don't take well to people with asshat opinions nor do we ignore them easily. If you don't like what your reading, there is a little X at the top right hand corner of your screen. Use it.

Damn girls..you attract all the people who are mad at the world. I have to admitt it is comical reading ya'lls responses to these idiots though. Being "controverial" (if you wanna call it that) is not really a bad thing...let them read, cause you know we will always be here to chew these dumbasses up and spit them right back out....Morgan, they are guppies and you are the shark as your mom used to say. Time for dinner!
